The Inn at Montross is a large frame building that has been used as a tavern, inn and restaurant in the town of Montross Va.since the early colonial period.Currently the Inn is closed and will likely be in forclosure soon.It was the prime restaurant and only functioning B&B in the town until 2005.It has operated sporatically since then. The 300 year old historic building is located next door to the county courthouse on the highest point in town and is blighted andrapidly detiorating. The local population has missed this business and greatly desires it's return.A current business plan for a total restoration to a 7room B&B and a charming colonial style restaurant exists and can be executed fairly rapidly if restoration assistance was available
