Develop a system to trap and convert methane gas to electrical energy in our unlined landfill. DEQ is requiring the closure of this landfill by 2012 and the time to complete this system is now. The County does not have thye funds to invest in this system without help. The energy created could save the County money on electricity expenses at the landfill and the animal control center across the road.Wiki Description
