There being no recreation/conservation area for our children, parents and volunteers have organized a non-profit organization to secure property for the project. We have obtained the land and working to start the development of a rec area, sports and conservation area. The proposed cost for the fields, fences, walking trail, lighting, shelter, bathrooms and road is $898,000. Our County has no funds and volunteers must raise the money. Benefits include opportunities and safe place for families, improved fitness, enhanced environmental and conservation practices, increased tourism and County economic development. This is a monumental task for volunteers, so any funding is appreciated.Wiki Description
