The City is working on a plan for solar and/or wind power generation at the Snowden Hydroelectric Plant area. There is sufficient space for solar panel arrays and there may be adequate wind. There is already the infrastructure in place for the distribution of the power so there would be a savings on that cost. This would assist the utility in its efforts to reduce its reliance on fossil fuel generation.Wiki Description
