The Commonwealth Center for Advanced manufacturing (CCAM) will be a not-for-profit research entity established by the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech and located on the Rolls Royce campus in Prince George County, Virginia. John Tyler Community College will have a role in workforce development to prepare individuals seeking employment with Rolls Royce and other related suppliers. CCAM will provide world class, multi-disciplinary manufacturing research programs focused on the design and implementation of new product development and best manufacturing practices.
